All members of the Ariana String Quartet are professionally trained experienced musicians, having performed with the finest British orchestras, including the Hallé, BBC Philharmonic, Liverpool Philharmonic, Opera North, Northern Ballet, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Northern Sinfonia, Northern Chamber Orchestra, Welsh Chamber Orchestra and Manchester Camerata.  In addition they are involved in teaching and educational workshops as well as freelance work.

	The players: Karen Burton – violin Alison White – violin Catherine Muncey – violin/viola Cordelia Prescott – viola Caroline Steer – cello As you will notice there are five regular players who make up this string quartet who play together in varying combinations.  This allows for a greater consistency and flexibility in fielding a team.
